Do you believe the NASA is the world's gatekeeper of space discoveries?

No... I think it's the US congress that's slowing NASA down. And, the imagination of the American people. With enough pressure, Congress would have to fund NASA (as it should be); right now, with the return on investment so far in the future, NASA is suffering at the hands of the Government.
