What is the difference between Meiosis stage 1 and stage 2?

I'm understanding the general idea of it... but what makes these 2 stages different from eachother? I'm watching a video on it right now and it looks the same? how does this differ from Mitosis? How are the end products between meiosis and mitosis different?
