Evolution or Creation?

I think both go hand in hand. I believe in some higher power, (Whether it be god, or buddah, or barney), and that they can influence nature to evolutionize and do stuff. What was the probability of us happening? Of us coming to be, here on this earth? Very very slim. I read once that god doesn't directly influence things, he bends nature and science to do what his will is. I don't know how true it is, but that's where faith comes in. Someone's gotta have something to believe in. It's kinda depressing just thinking that once we die, we just kinda dis-appear. That would make this life pointless. Which is depressing if you think about it. I like to think that science explains everything, but the higher power is what causes some of the extremely rare things science can "explain".
