If someone under 18 molests someone who is over 18, does the person over 18 go to jail?

I was talking to a friend and he said he saw something on like "judge judy" or something like that and heard that this 23 year old man was d by a 16 year old woman, and she also stabbed him, and they sent him to jail because she was under 18, even though she drugged him and they had a surveillance camera recording everything. I don't know if he said was true, but if it is, can that really happen, I mean how would the victim go to jail just because he is over 18 and the other person isn't.
