Is my bestfriend a bad friend?

well my bestfriend is a girl named trish and i knew her for a couple of years but we got kind of close this year, i use to like this boy named larnell and when i did she always use to talk about him she would say stuff like "i saw larnell and he licked his lips me and i was like ewww (she so called doesn't like it) i would just roll my eyes and wouldn't think much of it. But when i talked to my cousin she said that she is a really bad friend and i shouldn't hang with her, but the thing is that's the only bad thing she does she's fun to hang with. so i stopped liking larnell and started liking a boy named jarold. she stopped talking about larnell completely and started talking about jarold. she has a cl with jarold so it's easy for her to talk to him and i don't. i spoke to him once but that's about it. any ways she stopped talking about larnell and she started talking about jarold saying "ugh jarold gets on my nerves he's always bothering me trying to put his arms around me, i saw him pull up his shirt and i was like ewww" you know dumb stuff like that so i got mad and started talking to her less and less now we just say a couple words to each other and that's it ...
