A period that seems neverending this normal?

HI. My period began the first week of August and lasted for about 10 days. The began again the last week in the same month and I am now on my sixth day. Im really starting to get tired of going with the flo. Does anyone have any advice? I need some hope. I am not overweight or on any birth control. My periods are usually irregular. There's usually a few skipped months during the year. I have NEVER had one twice in the same month though. I am 23 years old. Please excuse the grammer I am asking from my mobile.
